As Manager, Sales & Marketing, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of the industry, marketing and sales process to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication and management skills are also essential for this position.

• Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business or Hospitality.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role in the industry.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills to effectively negotiate,

Director of Sales – Hong Kong

A 5* luxury hotel seeks a Director of Sales, with extensive working experience in Asia and especially in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Director of Sales will need to have an understanding, ability and resourcefulness to react to various market factors to harness available business opportunities.  You must have the drive and ambition to achieve great results and be able to lead the team to initiate new business opportunities.  

The ideal candidate must be able to initiate preparation of computerized annual Business & Marketing Plan and execute plans as outlined, critically examining and adjusting as deemed necessary to react the changing market conditions.

Candidates must have experience in compiling and/or directing the preparation of reports pertaining to the operation of the Sales Department to include, but not limited to, annual and Monthly Forecast, Marketing Budget, Lead Management System, Booking Report, Answer Net reports and Sales Meeting minutes.

Good knowledge of Opera, Delphi and computer literacy of Microsoft office is required.

Candidate should read, listen and communicates effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Resort Sales Manager  - Maritimes - Major Brand

Our client that owns and operates some outstanding branded hotel in the Maritimes is urgently searching for the talents of an exceptional Resort Sales Manager. They are seeking a highly motivated individual to promote and develop new business in the Maritime Provinces and will be responsible for selling to all market segments.

Please note: This position can be on property or could possibly be a "home based office setup" in the Maritimes area and can visit this property on a regular basis.     This is not for the Halifax area but in the Maritimes

The ideal candidate we are searching for will be self-motivated individual, can work well independently and processes an outgoing personality with a "Can Do" attitude. You will be expected to consistently meet or exceed sales goals, make effective cold calls and aggressively pursue new accounts and focus on "new business". Individuals with a go getter attitude, strong prospecting, negotiating and closing skills need only apply.
Good knowledge of computers and is savvy about the ever changing world on the Internet in social and business media.  You must also possess excellent customer service, exceptional follow-up and can think creatively and outside the box in identifying new major corporate markets.

This position will work directly in conjunction with the Director of Sales and the General Manager to develop and achieve property room and catering sales goals and revenues.  The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit, strong organizational skills and is detail oriented.
Should be detail oriented with a proven sale track record of progressive performance in your sales hospitality career to date.   Experience working in a high end quality room property is a definite asset plus, knows the Canadian East Coast market extremely well.

Experience in setting up sales blitzes, sales trips and attending industry trade shows in Canada and the USA.  Degree/diploma  in Hotel Management or Sales & Marketing preferred and have at least 2-4 years of progressive hotel sales experience in a hotel/resort related field required.

Salary parameters are around $50,000+ base with an exceptional and obtainable targeted bonuses as well as excellent company benefits including matched RRSP for the right career minded candidate. 

Water Sports Manager/Director – Caribbean

Our client, a top luxury resort in the Caribbean requires a highly experienced candidate for the Water Sports Manager/Director responsible for the water sports operations of a very large luxury resort in the Caribbean. He/she will report to the General Manager/ Hotel Manager of the resort.

Main qualifications & requirements :

  • Certified PADI/NAUI Instructor
  • A valid Lifeguard license
  • First Aid & CPR trained
  • College or Hospitality management degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years management/supervisory role in first class resort
  • Effective verbal and written skills
  • Should have a demonstrated knowledge of an ability to use and instruct guests in usage of all water sports equipment
  • Must be a proficient swimmer

This role will coordinate all activities of the Water Sports department including the Dive shop/Operation and coordinate all Dive boats; retail shop etc. There are several detailed functions of this role that can be shared with you if you qualify.

Salary would be approximately US $ 60k (tax free) plus gratuity (negotiable based on experience) plus gratuity approximately   US $ 8000 plus accommodation allowance and all ex-pat benefits.

Director of PR & Communications - Indonesia

A beautiful 5* resort in Bali that boasts of 400+ luxury rooms, award winning restaurants, club, spa and state of the art indoor and outdoor facilities for business and leisure travelers, seeks an experienced Director of PR & Communications.   As this property is considered as one of the best in its region and in the world, our client is looking at bringing a very successful candidate, with experience and strong networking connections within the International media. Extensive experience in large 5* hotel/resort, along with International experience is important to qualify for this role.  
The Director of PR & Communication is required to promote the resort facilities and oversee all public relations efforts, including press releases, media hosting, and events. Focus on garnering international recognition for the Resort and the group is primary,

German speaking Director of Sales and Marketing for Resort Hotel in Jordan

One of top five global luxury brands seeks a dynamic Director of Sales and Marketing with strong Leisure background and Resort experience for a new Resort Hotel to open in Jordan.

The ideal candidate should have a good knowledge of golf holiday and leisure, as well as strong experience and knowledge with international tour operators based out of Europe i.e. Germany, Scandinavia, Russia and others. The Resort Hotel is nearby a Golf Course and the Sales and Marketing office will be located in Amman.

Salary is negotiable based on experience. Benefits include housing, food and car allowance, medical, international retirement plan and expat package.

Chinese speaking Sales Manager – Hong Kong 

A new 5* luxury hotel/serviced residence seeks a Chinese speaking Sales Manager, with extensive working experience in Asia and especially in Hong Kong. 

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Sales Manager will need to have an understanding, ability and resourcefulness to react to various market factors to harness available business opportunities.  You must have the drive and ambition to achieve great results and be able to initiate new business opportunities.   

The ideal candidate would be able to work in a team environment, as well as independently and have an excellent awareness of the hospitality industry in Hong Kong and in Asia. You should have minimum of 8 years of experience in recognized properties and be ideally employed in a similar position. 

The Sales Manager must focus on corporate marketplace, particularly with reference to group business.  You should be organized and have the ability to generate sales activity reports.  The individual will have the ability to develop a sound and progressive sales plan, participate and coordinate all key sales initiatives including sales blitzes, familiarization trips, client events and tradeshows.   
The ideal candidate must also be Internet savvy and keep abreast of current market trends in the industry.  Candidates must demonstrate a comprehensive approach in obtaining and maintaining priority list of accounts and the focus will be on cultivating relationships, building business, providing a stable and positive work environment for the team to achieve budgeted goals. Ability to quickly evaluate situations and alternatives and decide on a plan of action is a must. 
Excellent communication and presentation skills are desired with fluency in Cantonese and other Chinese dialects.

Director of Sales & Marketing – Luxury Boutique Villa Resort in Sri Lanka

Our client is opening a gorgeous boutique Villa resort in Sri Lanka. They are in need of an experienced and well-connected Director of Sales and Marketing to help build and train the sales team, create and implement the sales strategy and lead all business development initiatives to ensure the successful opening and long-term viability of the resort.  In this role, you will report directly to and work with closely with the General Manager and Ownership. International travel will be required to build strong business relationships and partnerships.

The main focus will be to attract new corporate group business to this very well-known property in Ontario. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales plans and cost effective activities with the aim of maximizing revenue potential for this major hotel property in Ontario.  You will be a champion in building and penetrating new markets in the corporate group sale, conference, tour and travel segment, customer relationship management and sales channel management.

You will develop budgets and projections for each market segment of the industry and have the ability to conceptualize the mission and provide leadership to your sales team and set goals to achieve their sales forecasted and company mission statements.
You will provide leadership to each of the departments to achieve their sales and marketing targets and to maximize sales opportunities for this major hospitality operation. You should also be very internet savvy in the Toronto, Ontario, Canadian and USA market place.
You must have a strong and proven track record of meeting aggressive sales and growth targets and you know how to drive the business forward.

The ideal candidate should have strong sales drive, budgetary, projections, and cost control skills.  You should currently have at least 5 years of leading management sales experience in a major hotel/resort operation and have truly outstanding presentation and communication skills.

Convention Sales Manager – Frankfurt, Germany

Our client, a 5 star hotel in Frankfurt is searching for a Convention Sales Manager. He/she will oversee all functions of the Conference/Conventions Services Department. As the representative of the hotel and company, you will professionally approach and communicate with current and prospective customers for their Convention and Conference needs. Knowledgeable on the marketplace in Frankfurt/Germany and understanding the business and events in the market. Our client is seeking individuals that will be proactive and creative in obtaining strong sales leads. 

You will maintain strong client relations and ensure that convention specifications are communicated and executed for a very successful meeting experience for the meeting planner and all attendees. You will also participate in site visits and plan meetings for upcoming groups and potential affiliate business.


Effectively communicate with all other hotel departments the information necessary to successfully execute the group’s needs while maintaining a good client relationship. Impress customers with outstanding and tailored proposals in a pleasant and friendly manner.
Must possess knowledge of hospitality business and be an effective listener with outstanding verbal, written, negotiation and closing skills.  Must have the ability to assess all customer needs, understand market dynamics and prepare company presentations/proposals that are tailored for individual customers.
The candidate must be fluent in German, enjoy client interactions, have superb attention to detail, two years of conference service sales experience, and must be flexible with working hours. 

The salary is roughly €3500 gross a month, there isn't a housing allowance, relocation expenses are negotiable, and marital status isn't a consideration.

Catering Sales Coordinator – East GTA, Ontario, Canada

We are conducting a search for a Catering Sales Coordinator in the East GTA for one of our clients. This individual that they are seeking, must be passionate about event/corporate catering and who has sound food and beverage experience. You will assist in supervising all catering and event services for the company. You will also be responsible for coordinating catering/events and will help manage service teams at all events and catering functions.  
Will be an Event/Catering/Corporate leader with proven ability to coordinate multiple corporate and social events. Have solid knowledge of quality service standards, corporate/event management operations and practices.  The successful candidate will possess a good knowledge in food, wine and service techniques, with experience managing people in a food & beverage setting. Must be able to build and maintain good relationships with customers, clients and staff.

This position offers a base salary of $38,000 an incentive bonus and a share of gratuities at functions that you administer. This position reports to the Owner and Director of Catering Sales. 

Children’s Entertainment Manager (Kids Club) – Caribbean

Our client, a top luxury resort in the Caribbean requires an experienced Children's Entertainment Manager for their Kids Club. The person will be responsible for the daily operation and executing of entertainment activities for kids registered and participating in various activities in the Kids Club program.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:-

  • Budgetary planning and financial administration for the department
  • Staffing – motivating, training and developing
  • Ensuring that partnership standards for XBOX, Scratch DJ Academy, Crayola facilities etc. are maintained
  • Be resourceful and facilitate the continuous development of ideas to enhance the programme
  • Effectively liaise with parents and guardians of kids registered in the Kids Camp Programme
  • Ensuring the safety of children and counselors by maintaining the assigned ratios of children to counselors
  • Coordinate relevant activities and décor implantation for themed days and special holidays e.g. Easter, Halloween
  • Handle all guests concerns efficiently and in compliance with company standards
  • Ensure a clean, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing and kids friendly environment.
  • Provide emceeing duties and stage management functions, when necessary for various Kids shows and productions
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with team members and managers to foster and promote cooperation and teamwork
  • Support the general operations of the Entertainment department as may be necessary or directed by relevant management personnel.
