The Revenue Specialist is responsible for maximizing revenues for both the property & key hotel partners in the assigned region. The primary focus of this role is to aid internal management teams and key supply partners in identifying, implementing and executing strategic initiatives which improve key business metrics and ensure the company’s offerings are appropriately positioned to be competitive and maximize opportunities for distribution and marketing of product offerings within the assigned region.
Required Experience:
French and English language is a strong asset.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; major in Tourism or Hospitality a plus, or 3 to 5 years relevant industry experience.
Hotel revenue management / reservation or account management role in another OLTA - strongly preferred.
Experience in consultative sales environment preferred.

Director of Finance – Vancouver, B.C. Canada
Our client, a major 4 star hotel in Vancouver requires the services of an outstanding Director of Revenue. The successful candidate will work with all hotel management departments in determining strategic goals and tactical efforts.
He/She will be responsible for ensuring that inventory allocation and pricing parameters that are positioned to support the overall revenue goals. Conduct weekly revenue management meetings and as chair give synopsis of past strategies versus results and leads the discussion on current/future issues. Develop analytical tools to determine effectiveness of selling, pricing and distribution strategies. Develop, monitor and maintain all short term forecasts as outlined by corporate management standards.
Requirements:
Solid and proven experience in revenue management
Strategic thinking combined with the proven ability to move strategy to action
Strong analytical skills and can think outside of the box
Proven experience in analysis and problem solving required
In conjunction with sales team, determine rate philosophy and structure, drive business based on yield management but yet flexible during need period
Analyze trends to be able to set daily, short - long term goals for occupancy and average rates
Identify packaging opportunities in periods of high and low demand
Production of status report, highlighting the high and low seasons, weekly, monthly or yearly forecast and adjusting rates accordingly

Chief Financial Officer – Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Our client, who operates a hotel, restaurants and other business ventures, are seeking an Chief Financial Officer who will be responsible for all short and long-range financial matters. The establishment of company-wide financial and administrative objectives, policies, programs, and practices that insure the company of a continuously sound financial structure.
* Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives and monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
* Manage all accounting functions as well as human resources, investor relations, legal, and taxation for the organization
* Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team and .maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
* Develop financial and tax strategies and the performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
