GENERAL MANAGER – PREMIER PRIVATE CLUB – S.E. ASIA
We have been retained by the premier private club in Asia to secure a General Manager who will be there for the next 10 years! The role would be exciting to an experienced Club Manager (10 years experience in clubs is mandatory). Our client would like to see those with a private club background in both Asia and in another major country. A 6 figure salary will be offered.
Mandatory requirements:
· You must have managed an internationally recognized Private Club for a minimum of 5 years.
· You must have management experience in at least 2 countries; Asia being one is a plus.
· You have managed a Club with a minimum of 100 or more associates employed there.
· You are in the prime of your life and very energetic.
· You are culturally friendly and sympathetic to local employees needs.
· You can work with unions and highly intelligent Club Committees.
Your current Club must have sophisticated multi unit food and beverage outlets and large sports facilities. If your Club were a Hotel Group, you would be working in a Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Mandarin or a Peninsula Hotel.
Salon Manager – Macau
This very large luxury and stylish resort/hotel with a “state of the art spa and salon” seeks a professional and experienced Salon Manager. You will perform all hair services which include cutting, styling and the use of chemical treatments. You will also work very closely with all areas of the Spa department, including Spa/Facilities and Fitness.
Responsibilities:
Review all daily reservations to ensure accuracy and efficiency for revenue maximization
Inspect the daily upkeep, maintenance and hygiene of Salon facilities and tools
Oversee, implement & maintain proper inventory control systems for Salon products, retail products and guest supplies and monitor merchandising plans for retail products to maximize sales.
Oversee the execution and completion of spa treatments and operations in accordance with established policies and procedures
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years Salon industry experience; 2 years of Salon management experience
Knowledge/Certificates: Excellent product knowledge of a range of salon therapies, treatments and products; must have knowledge of current hair and salon trends and be open to learning new treatments and concepts from other cultures.

International Concierge for 5* Cruise line based in USA
Our client a luxury cruise line is looking for an International Concierge to cover all their vessels. This role is to aid both shipboard and shore side operations with effective communication of all foreign language collateral, programs, activities and group as offered through Hotel Operations and also to contribute their “foreign language expertise towards the ultimate international guest experience for our French, German, Spanish and Portuguese guests sailing onboard.
The Concierge will be responsible for translating and managing the following Onboard Collaterals, also as a general translator for Immigration / Customs guest correspondence, instructions, invitations etc. Maintains database of all translations including menus, welcome letters, and any other collaterals as determined by the Company, and offers shore side support for non-English speaking guests through the sales, groups or reservations departments.
They will travels to the ships to assist with any large groups/high numbers of foreign speaking guests on a particular voyage. Assists the shipboard operation with any Foreign Language needs and maintains a minimum of 2 hours in a public area of guest related desk hours. Provides assistance for non English guests who embark/disembark the ship early/late; due to medical or personal reasons, communicating needs as required with shore side colleagues also assisting the ship where needed. Responds and deals with guest comments received via the mid cruise questionnaire for International Guests who fall into the category of German, French, Spanish, Portuguese or any future added languages that encompass the program. Hosts a Cocktail Party for non-English speaking guests as well as arranging own tables with regular guests or guests rectified service issues. Ensures that General Manager is promptly and fully informed of any areas of potential problems or unusual matters of significance so that prompt corrective action can be taken.
Education and Experience:
Hospitality / travel industry education and experience, previous translation experience required and also Shipboard experience preferred.
Speak/write a minimum of three languages to a high level, which must include English, German and Spanish (French and Portuguese preferred as well). Understanding of the highest level of service in a luxury cruise product, has excellent administrative skills, outgoing personality, open minded and flexible, well organized and an effective communicator.
Must have the right to work and live in USA, as this is mainly a US based role with a mixture of shore-side and onboard for hosting purposes of large foreign speaking.

The objective of these positions are to ensure that the implementation of company training programs, human resource polices, and service standards result in exceptional passenger satisfaction, excellent crew welfare, and positive business results.
In particular, these management positions contribute to the operational performance of the cruise liner by:
Overall responsibility for ship’s training room including maintenance of equipment.
Leading, coordinating, and implementing management and crew training.
Maintaining a productive and supportive professional working partnership with the Captain, GM, and colleagues at all times.
Supporting employee recognition programs.
Maintaining training records and tracking data required for talent management and human resources administration.
Maintaining operational continuity with a systematic and consistent handover procedure.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resource Development
At least 3 – 5 years experience in the hospitality field in a human resource / training capacity
Previous shipboard experience preferred

Be able to perform well under pressure and in an international environment
Be able to conduct and follow structured training programs
Have excellent administrative, computer and organizational skills along with attention to timeliness and detail
Salary: $4,100+ per month onboard plus vacation pay
